4 beef steaks, 1 inch / 2.2 cm thick
Salt and black pepper to taste
1/4 cup green onions, chopped
1/4 cup red pepper, cut into small cubes
1 cup mushrooms, whole or halved if large
1 cup meat broth
1 tablespoon dried thyme
1 tablespoon flour
1 tablespoon water

Sprinkle Lurpak Cooking Mist into a large non-stick frying pan, place over a medium heat then add the steak slices, cook for 6 minutes on each side, sprinkle with salt and pepper and set aside.

In the same pan, sprinkle Lurpak Cooking Mist again and add the green onions, fry over low to medium heat for 3 minutes, add the peppers and mushrooms and cook for a further 3 minutes then add the meat stock and thyme and bring to the boil.

Combine flour and water in a small bowl and pour over vegetable mixture, cook for 2 minutes or until sauce thickens, stirring occasionally.

Serve steaks with hot sauce
